The WASP Squadron preserves and spreads the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), through education, in the air and on the ground. Understanding of both can be gained by flying in the AT-6 “Nella” who was flown by 6 WASP cadets in 1943-44, plus 7 that flew with her from 2017 and on.
The Squadron is actively “Honoring a Legacy” at each appearance, presentation or event by discussing their accomplishments and character that can be described as SPUNKY - Being Self Confident, Positive, Unstoppable, Nice, Knowledgeable and Be Yourself
